Community Partners

Other than our Retail Partners, The Spectrum's Community Partners are primarily engaged in different areas and degrees of advocacy, intervention and education for special needs in Malaysia. Our Community Partners largely consist of learning centers, associations, advocacy and/or special interest groups, and even NGOs.

Project Lily by AIDA

Project Lily by AIDA (Autism Inclusiveness Direct Action Group) is a registered non-governmental organisation (NGO) championing advocacy initiatives for the autism community.  It is led and managed by adults on the autism spectrum, who are involved in engaging various stakeholders especially at government level, by advising on the development of national policies that would serve and safeguard the needs of the community.

Bridging Hope

Bridging Hope is founded on the vision of building a place where individuals can gain independence, have a sense of self-worth, and to be able to have a sustainable income. Its objectives include transitioning towards employment and independent living for adolescents and adults with learning differences, with the ultimate goal of independent living in a supported environment and community.

The Learning Connection

The Learning Connection provides quality educational services to students with a range of learning differences - and is committed to enhancing the social, emotional, physical and academic talents of each child, regardless of learning differences. In addition to alternative school programs, TLC also offers numerous therapies such as speech, occupational, play, and behaviour therapy – and also enrichment and home learning programs to its students.

SENIA Malaysia

The Malaysia chapter of the International Special Education Network and Inclusion Association. SENIA Malaysia is an association of educators, professionals, and parents whose mission is to advocate for and provide resources/supports for differently-abled individuals. Its objective is to create a space for sharing ideas, asking questions and connecting with others.

EmployAble

EmployAble aims to redefine employment for differently-abled individuals. Together with interested businesses, EmployAble hopes to attain gainful inclusive employment for individuals in safe and secure working environments. EmployAble believes in nurturing the interests, potential and strengths of its trainees which will be fully prepared for various future pathways.

Persatuan Untuk Anak  Kita (PUAK) Payong

An abbreviation of “Persatuan Untuk Anak Kita” (Society For Our Children), PUAK PAYONG (Umbrella) is a Non-Governmental Organisational (NGO) which focuses on children aged 18 and below, being an advocate on creating safe spaces through building self esteem, knowledge, and skills.
